If you have a child between 10 to 18 years old looking for a place to strengthen his or her athletics skills, check out the ActiveSG Athletics Club Development Centre (DC). The DC is a premier training facility designed to nurture and develop individuals with potential to excel in athletics.

The DC was officially launched in 2022 as part of the ActiveSG Athletics Club, a national movement that aims to promote and grow the sport of athletics in Singapore. Since then, the squad has quickly become a hub for aspiring athletes who are talented and passionate about athletics. Catering to a select group of individuals, it provides a unique pathway for talented athletes to pursue their passion for athletics and unlock their full potential.

Admission to the DC is subject to trials held periodically throughout the year. The trials are designed to assess the skills, abilities, and potential of each candidate. Only those who meet the criteria and demonstrate a high level of commitment and discipline will be accepted into the DC.

With a growing participant base, it has become a dynamic community of athletes, coaches and support staff. Our highly qualified coaches, who bring extensive experience and expertise to the table, provide personalised training plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each athlete. They also monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of each athlete on a regular basis.

At the ActiveSG Athletics Club DC, a comprehensive training curriculum is offered which covers various aspects of athletics, including sprints, jumps and throws. Here, it is not just about developing individual athletes but also improving the overall athletic ecosystem by nurturing talent, fostering collaboration, and promoting excellence.

The DC also provides various opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills and talents in local and regional competitions. Participants also attend events that enhance learning and social opportunities for our athletes. Some of these include workshops, seminars, camps, clinics, and exchange programmes.
