Having good muscular power enables us to perform quick and explosive movements that are required in many athletic activities such as sprinting or jumping high to head a ball. It also greatly contributes to the performance of our everyday activities as rarely are these tasks performed in a slow and controlled manner. These activities include standing up from the chair quickly, picking up pace while crossing the street, jumping over an open drain.
