Intellectual Impairment Programme

Establishing a positive and welcoming approach, our Para Academy Athletics programme encourages participants to actively enhance the physical, social and emotional well-being holistically through run, jump and throw activities. Via this programme, participants learn and develop a series of physical and technical skills. These sessions focus on agility, balance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, muscular strength and enjoyment in a safe environment. As part of the initiatives to enable People with Disabilities (PWDs) to participate in sport activities and that inclusion not exclusion has been the priority, this programme increases the opportunities for our participants to live active and pursue high performance sport in a progressive pathway.
