Tell us more about yourself and the sport(s) you play.

  1. Tell us more about yourself and the sport(s) you play.

I'm 23 years old. I'm a full-time office worker and part-time weight loss and beauty blogger. I like to brisk walk, swim and play badminton.

  2. How did you first get introduced to badminton?

I started playing when I was in primary school with my classmates and I fell in love with it. There was a period of time when I played almost everyday!

  3. Where do you frequent for your badminton game? Who do you usually play with?

I used to go to the community centre but in the long run, the fees could add up to quite a big sum. As saving money is important to me, I now play at HDB void decks or badminton courts around the HDB area. Currently, I only play with my boyfriend!

  4. How often do you play badminton? What is the duration for one session?

If I have more time, I will play every week. It's about 1 to 1.5 hours per session!

What do you enjoy most about badminton, and why?

  1. What do you enjoy most about badminton, and why?

I feel that I can play badminton anytime and anywhere, as long as there's a high ceiling. It's not like running and swimming where you may be inconvenienced by bad weather. Maybe I'm just lucky because the ceiling around my residential area are all pretty high.

Also, badminton is the only sport/game where I can interact and laugh with my opponent. I will always laugh at my partner if they happen to strike a funny pose or even when I find myself doing some funny actions. It's a very fun, carefree and an interactive sport!

I always get muscle aches in almost every part of my body after a session; I feel that badminton works out my entire body as compared to running where I would only feel muscle aches on my legs. Also, badminton is a sport that improves my endurance, agility and strength!
