As part of GetActive! Singapore 2022, 60 instructors led over 1,600 fitness enthusiasts to break 3 Singapore Book of Records for the Largest Mass Piloxing, Largest Fight Do and Largest KPopX Fitness workouts at the National Stadium on Sunday, 7 August.
The event was organised by Sport Singapore in partnership with the fitness industry, coming together in a mass participation event in celebration of National Day through sport. The participants were from all walks of life, from fitness professionals to persons with disabilities, migrant workers and Team Singapore athletes.

The record-breaking event was attended by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance along with Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Law. After the National Day Observance Ceremony, participants warmed up to the GetActive! Mass Workout: Dance of the Nation 2022, which is choreographed to this year’s National Day theme song ‘Stronger Together’. Thereafter, the participants took part in Zumba, Piloxing, FIGHT DO and KpopX Fitness. They were also joined by viewers who tuned in 'live' online through a livestream on ActiveSG Circle website.

“It was a wonderful sight to see so many people coming together to exercise and celebrate our nation's birthday. As we broke a few Singapore records today, the spirits of 'Play On, Play Together' and 'Stronger Together, Majulah' were extremely overwhelming at the National Stadium. We are happy that we created many memorable moments for our people at the National Stadium for the 57th National Day”, said Mr Roy Teo, Group Chief of Industry Development & Special Projects, Sport Singapore.

DPM Lawrence Wong, together with Minister Edwin Tong and Sport Singapore’s senior management, also watched the Pesta Sukan Basketball Women’s Open Final at the OCBC Arena, where DPM Wong did a ceremonial ball toss to commence the final game.
