GetActive! Singapore, a hallmark event in the nation’s sporting calendar, is set to return in 2024 with an exciting lineup of activities aimed at encouraging Singaporeans to celebrate National Day through sport. Scheduled to take place from 27 July, this annual event, in its 9th year, promises a vibrant showcase of sport and fitness activities for participants of all ages and abilities.

GetActive! Singapore Launch
Choreographed to this year's National Day song, ‘Not Alone’, by homegrown artiste Benjamin Kheng, the GetActive! Singapore Workout 2024: Dance of the Nation is a workout for all ages. Get your groove on and dance with your family and friends as we celebrate at the launch, held at OCBC Square this Saturday (27 July) at 7am.
Join us too, in celebrating Olympic Day at the Singapore Sports Hub with a 3.8km walk, in celebration of the Olympic spirit. What makes the walk even sweeter this year is that it coincides with the opening day of the Paris 2024 Olympics! The Olympic Day Walk also signifies our support for Team Singapore and their pursuit for excellence. Go Team Singapore!
Majulah Fiesta
Organised by Singapore Sports Hub and Sport Singapore (SportSG), Majulah Fiesta will feature a calendar packed with sporting entertainment and fun at the Singapore Sports Hub, with something for everyone, from dance battles to sport try-outs, and even a pet’s day out!
Play Inclusive 2024, held on 3 & 17 August, will see persons with and without disabilities come together in friendly competition as they build friendship, understanding and acceptance through shared sports experiences. Come support and cheer them on at OCBC Arena.
The inaugural Youth@Play festival is a new annual platform for youths to come together to discover and try out new sporting experiences. Held at OCBC Square, the event will feature a variety of activities such as bouldering, skateboarding, kayaking, pickleball and street dance, recreational games and friendly competitions to provide youths with more opportunities to unleash their sports potential and celebrate little wins.
Dancers unite at Lion City Dance Convention! Held in conjunction with GetActive! Singapore, this major dance event is known for bringing together dancers from various genres and skill levels. It serves as a platform for dancers to showcase their talents, learn from industry professionals, and engage in workshops and competitions from 27 July to 4 August.
Step into the AHrena with the Active Health Community Fitness Challenge at Kallang Wave Mall and flex your fitness muscles as you pit yourself against Team Singapore athletes and tackle fitness challenges such as powerlifting and wakeboarding! Complete a series of chalnneges and redeem an Active Health FitPack (while stocks last).
Also, check out SportSG’s ‘Together We Play’ interactive running game while you are at OCBC Square and OCBC Arena from 27 July to 10 August too, and you could qualify for the monthly lucky draw for a chance to win $100 NTUC vouchers!
Seniors’ Sports Day returns in 2024 as the ActiveX Playdate with school children joining the seniors (by special invitation to Senior Citizen Groups) in a series of modified sports competition and tryout stations, alongside Active Health assessments, to encourage both generations to interact and participate together in sport. Nurture Kids’ Day Out is also back with an invitation to over 2,000 pre-schoolers across 45 pre-schools, who will partake in the National Day Observance Ceremony and Dance Of The Nation workout, before they have a go at movement activities and games that have been curate by educators and SportSG into fun and enjoyable sport and play experiences.
Pesta Sukan
atHeld in conjunction with the annual Get Active! Singapore campaign, the country's oldest sports competition sees 34 sport categories this year including the introduction of wrestling and rugby 7s in this year’s line-up. With competitions held across the island, sport fans can find great enjoyment in spectating at Pesta Sukan competitions between 27 July and 4 August. The lively atmosphere and competitive spirit create an exciting backdrop for enthusiasts to cheer on their family and friends. Whether it's the adrenaline of close races, the precision of team coordination in team sports, or the individual prowess in various disciplines, Pesta Sukan offers something for everyone. This year also marks the inaugural edition of the Pesta Sukan Community Championship (PSCC 2024), organised in collaboration with the People’s Association. Featuring badminton, basketball, football, table tennis, and pickleball, members of the public are encouraged to join us for the PSCC Finals happening at the OCBC Arena on 4 August.
