NSG 2023 Basketball : Defending Champions National JC, Defeat Millennia Institute en route to the Quarter-final Stage!

The A Division Boys' Basketball competition at the 2023 National School Games (NSG), tipped off on 12 April. A total of 20 schools were split into 4 groups, as they started their preliminary round-robin campaigns. On 26 April at the Singapore Basketball Centre, Millennia Institute took on the defending champions National Junior College in a Group A encounter. The Milennians went into the match after a run of 1 win in 3 matches, while the NJCians arrived after 2 straight wins. Final Score : Millennia Institute 42 - 69 National Junior College. It was NJC's toughest game in the qualifying series, as they wrapped up the round-robin stage with 4 straight wins. And from 5 May onwards, the NJCians will start their quarter-final campaign against the likes of Hwa Chong Institution, Nanyang Junior College and Anglo-Chinese School (Independent).
