NSG 2024 Sepaktakraw: Senior Div Yuhua Primary School vs Qihua Primary School

In the thrilling preliminary round of the National School Games Sepaktakraw Senior Division Boys, Yuhua Primary School faced off against Qihua Primary School in a closely contested match. The game proved to be a tight battle from the start, with both teams displaying exceptional skill and determination. Despite the extreme closeness of the first Regu, which extended to a total of three sets, Yuhua Primary managed to secure the win with a score of 15-13 in the final set, edging ahead of Qihua. Throughout the match, spectators were treated to intense exchanges, long rallies, and a relentless fight for every point, showcasing the competitive spirit and athleticism of both teams.

Ultimately, Yuhua Primary emerged victorious, winning the match 2 Regu to 1. Their triumph in the face of such fierce competition highlighted their resilience and ability to perform under pressure. The hard-fought victory not only showcased the skill and teamwork of the Yuhua Primary team but also demonstrated the competitive spirit and sportsmanship that characterises the National School Games Sepaktakraw tournament. Despite the loss, the boys from Qihua Primary can keep their heads high as they have shown remarkable display of determination on the court, everlasting support from their teammates cheering despite the deficit.

The Qihua boys stand united with high morale and unwavering spirits, ready to conquer any challenge that comes their way.

PAUL FIRDAUS SOLOMON certainly enjoyed that point with a chest bump celebration with his fellow teammate, LUTFIL HADI BIN MUHAMMAD FAIRUZ.

 

Despite a very strong and commanding start from Qihua Primary School, the Yuhua boys managed to overcome the adversity after a timeout and secure the first game. The importance of every point won felt by players and their parents who were present during the game.

 

Losing and winning is part of a game, but it’s the takeaway of good sportsmanship and resilience that the Qihua boys can be proud of. Even though the score may not favour them today, the lessons learnt on the court transcend the game—perseverance, teamwork, and tenacity.
