NSG 2024 Softball: A Div Anglo-Chinese Junior College VS River Valley High School
The National School Games Softball A Div Championship for the 3rd and 4th place between River Valley High School (RVHS) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College (ACJC) took place at Jurong East Softball Field. Earlier this year, ACJC, the reigning champions from 2023, had narrowly edged out RVHS 3-2 in the preliminary round, adding an extra layer of rivalry to this clash. RVHS, last year's 4th-place finishers, were driven to rewrite their story.
As the game progressed, RVHS displayed impeccable teamwork and executed seamless plays between their pitchers and fielders. ACJC responded with lightning-fast reflexes and strategic brilliance. The intense competition was matched by exemplary sportsmanship and camaraderie among the players, a true testament to the spirit of the National School Games. In the end, ACJC emerged triumphant with a hard-fought 10-5 win, to claim the 3rd place for this year’s National School Games Softball A Div Girls Championship.
