NSG 2024 Swimming: Junior Div Finals

The National School Junior Division Swimming Finals brought together 101 schools, turning the pool into a stage for intense competition. One standout was Grace Liu En Hui from Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School (PHPPS), who dominated the Junior Div Girls 25m butterfly and 25m breaststroke events. Her flawless technique and swift strokes set her apart, leading to impressive wins.

On the boys' side, Ocean Ping Fan Mok of Temasek Primary School (TPS) achieved victories in the 25m butterfly and 25m breaststroke races. Adding to the excitement, Nathalie Rui Yi Goh from Methodist Girls' School (Primary)(MGS) and Yi Hong Quah from Nanyang Primary School (NYPS) took charge in the 25m backstroke and 25m freestyle events, respectively. Sashikumar Kareena from Farrer Park Primary School (FPSS) and Jaerus Teo Cheng Jun from Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) (ACS (J)) also made their mark, claiming victory in the 25m breaststroke and 25m freestyle races.

The atmosphere peaked during the freestyle relay, where MGS and ACS (J) delivered a thrilling performance, captivating spectators and crowning an exhilarating day of swimming brilliance.


An aquatic showdown unfolded as 101 schools converged for the Junior Division swimming finals. 



Amidst fierce competition, Tao Nan School's (TNS) Lyu Jingchen Jasper dived into the fray, vying for victory against 10 other skilled swimmers


Zhenghua Primary School's (ZPS) Lim Paige En Xuan, Henry Park Pri School's (HPPS) Conway Lydia Li-En, Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' Primary School's (PLMGPS) Yap Reanne and Teo Enting Hazel sliced through the water for their 25m backstroke plus 25m freestyle event

 


Methodist Girls' School's (MGS) Goh Nathalie Rui Yi claimed 1st place in the Junior Div Girls 25m backstroke plus 25m freestyle event, outshining 14 talented competitors with a timing of 38.26s

St Hilda's Primary School's (SHPS) Ong Zhen Zu Jairus clutched the starting line as he waited for the decisive beep to kick off the race.

 


NYPS' Quah Yi Hong channeled all his strength and endurance, propelling himself to victory in the boys 25m backstroke plus 25m freestyle race, surpassing 24 competitors.

 


Impeccable form and grace as swimmers dived into the water for the Junior Div Girls 25m breaststroke plus 25m freestyle race.

 


Farrer Park Primary School's (FPPS) Sashikumar Kareena fist pumped the air, marking her victorious claim of 1st place in the girls 25m breaststroke plus 25m freestyle race.


ACS (J)'s Teo Cheng Jun Jaerus clinched 1st place among 37 other swimmers in the boys 25m breaststroke plus 25m freestyle race.
