The National School Games Water Polo C Division Pool round match between SP-CCA and Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) took place at Our Tampines Hub. SP-CCA's Water Polo program, launched in July 2022, is one of three centralized, non-school-based CCAs available to secondary students. These programs enable students to engage in sports or performing arts not typically offered at their schools. Created in collaboration with the ActiveSG Water Polo Academy, the program welcomes students interested in learning and training in Water Polo.

During this match, HCI capitalized on scoring opportunities and maintained a strong defense, ensuring their commanding position. SP-CCA, displaying resilience and determination, continued to fight despite the scoreboard deficit. Despite their efforts to narrow the gap, HCI's cohesive teamwork and strategic approach secured their victory with a final score of 11-5.
