History and Key Milestones
2015 – Sport Singapore unveils ‘Team Nila’ ahead of the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
2018 – Launched the inaugural Team Nila Awards, establishing a new tradition to recognise outstanding volunteers and their contributions.
2022 – Team Nila surpasses 1 million volunteer hours, showcasing the collective commitment of Singapore’s sport volunteers.
2024 – Commissioned Team Nila Beats to cheer for Team Singapore for major games.
2025 – Team Nila commemorates a decade of impact, marking 10 years of volunteer service!
